  Doctor of Philosophy - PhD Land - Atmospheric Interaction

  My doctoral research deals with the investigation of Land - Atmospheric Feedback studies whereby I'm trying to find out statistical correlation, coupling strength and causal relation among different land - atmospheric variables (e.g. soil moisture, its persistence or memory, evapotranspiration, vapor pressure deficit, precipitation) and its modification due to human induced change in land use - land cover.

  Master of Science (M.Sc.) Geography with specialization in River Science

  At my masters studies I was primarily trained in Physical Geography, Geoinformatics and Geophysical Modelling. In the two years of my master's training, first year was allotted to opt the courses on mentioned earlier and last year my training was devoted to earn a specialization in River Science.

  Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Geography

  In my B.Sc., I opted several credits covering Physical Geography (Climatology, Geomorphology, Hydrology, Pedology, Oceanography), Human Geography, Traditional Tools in Geography (Classical Cartography and Geoinformatics), Philosophy of Geography - as the major course.Allied to the major I took the minor courses on Mathematics, Physics, Environmental Science, Life Science, Economics, Geology, Bengali (Literature).
