      I held the position of Deputy Director at the ICT Center of the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), which is currently known as the University of Rwanda's College of Science and Technology. In this role, I effectively supported the Director in managing the daily operations of the ICT Center, ensuring its smooth functioning. The ICT Center offered specialized training in short courses to both public and private sectors in Rwanda, while also providing valuable ICT consultancy services to clients from diverse industries.       I led and oversaw the implementation of the eRwanda Project at the Rwanda Information Technology Authority (RITA – now known as RISA). This was a US$ 10 Million project that played a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of the Government of Rwanda's initial ICT plan (NICI 1) and e-Government strategy. It enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal processes of the Government’s service delivery systems through the introduction and use of digital technologies or ICTs.       In my role as Project Manager for this World Bank-financed US$ 34.5 Million project in Rwanda, I provided leadership and oversight throughout the project's implementation spanning over 5 and a half years. This significant project supported the Government of Rwanda's skills development strategy by enhancing the capabilities of the local workforce through improved access to high-quality vocational training and employable skills.As the project head, I assumed a leadership role, overseeing its day-to-day operations and effectively managing a diverse range of critical activities as the project played a pivotal part in introducing and implementing competency-based training (CBT) methodologies throughout the country. This encompassed spearheading key initiatives such as competency-based curriculum development and assessment, infrastructure development including school construction and procuring state-of-the-art workshop equipment, comprehensive training programs for instructors in CBT methodologies, school management capacity development, and nurturing fruitful collaborations between industry stakeholders and the TVET institutions.       As the Project Coordinator, I spearheaded the implementation of this innovative US$ 12.8 Million project financed by the African Development Bank, that aimed to empower women entrepreneurs across 38 African countries within the EAC, COMESA, and ECOWAS regions.At the core of the project was the development of a cutting-edge Digital Networking Platform, strategically designed to connect and support African women entrepreneurs. This platform served as a hub for providing essential information on both financial and non-financial services, empowering women in their businesses, trading activities, employment opportunities, and access to government tenders.
