Worked with researchers to create a hypothetical model of the mechanism of HIV’s envelope glycoprotein. Adapted complex molecular knowledge into a format appropriate for an interested lay audience

  Biomedical illustrator and animator working within the Biophysics Section of the Laboratory of Cell Biology of the National Cancer Institute. Researched and visualized molecular mechanisms of action. Analyzed high-resolution electron microscopy density maps and fit crystal structures to the maps using Coot molecular model development software. Developed figures and cover illustrations for publication. Assisted in lab website design and technical development.
