  Project Co-ordination: Began co-ordinating an urban development project relating to the 2010 Soccer World CupCompilation and Analysis of Statistics: Gathered and analysed data from 9 metros across South Africa to feed into the Urban Trends and Performance section of the State of the Cities Report 2006 published by the South African Cities Network.Conducted Interviews: Interviewed Area-Based Managers and line function managers in the eThekwini Municipality for a project that was the basis for an Environmental Planning book authored by Alison Todes. Literature Reviews: Conducted literature reviews on various topics such as homelessness, mega-events, globalisation, urban environmental problems.Field-work co-ordination: Co-ordinated fieldwork in KZN for the HIV-Educators Project for the Department of Education.Analysis and presentation of findings: Evaluated land claims against Integrated Development Plans for the Eastern Cape.
