  Testing Engineer

  1. Working as a Testing engineer for the Three-phase oil-immersed distribution transformers (11KV/433V) rated up to 250 KVA as per IS/IES standards at Hi-power electrical industry for TSSPDCL, TSNPDCL, APSPDCL, APEPDCL, MSEDCL, and Karnataka power distribution. 2. Make through the inspection process on the arrival of the inspector for the related design from the state board or from third party inspection like ERDA.3. To ensure all work in LV winding, HV winding, CCA and Tanking section, is going on as per tender specifications, drawings and GTP values. 4. Maintenance of all materials like wiring, protective equipment, measuring meters etc, under the testing section.5. Read the guaranteed technical particulars (GTP) of the given rated distribution transformer.6. According to the rating, calculate the required values and collect the data of the transformer, andConduct different types of tests on the transformer based on the rated current and the rated voltage values.7. Identify failed transformers and send them to the concerned department for rectification.8. Calculate the losses of the transformer and make the reports on the same.9. Also conducting tests on the empty tank for any leakage check, test on the core to calculate the pre-core losses and test on the oil to check breakdown voltage. 10. Maintaining all the testing records and the testing reports. Show less
