      Technical support in the installation and use of a cleanroom producing skin and limbal keratinocytes for autologous human transplantation to burns patients. This work required MHRA and HTA oversight, the role involved production of SOPs and traceability documentation, remote monitoring and logging of the cleanroom environment, QA/QC of supplied consumables and multiple analyses of the transplanted cells. In addition to the clear room work the role also involved isolation from human tissue and maintenance of primary human chondrocytes, bone marrow stem cells, skin and limbal fibroblasts, keratinocytes, including for autologous transplant. Research work included cytotoxicity of carbon nanotubes, measurement of cellular adhesion to biomaterial surfaces, laboratory and equipment management, and training responsibilities. Show less
