      Knowledge of compliance with all regulatory, accrediting, and membership-based organizations for medical providers. Create and complete credentialing processes in relation to physicians, chief residents, and various other licensed healthcare professionals. Ensure that all personnel and services adhere to facility and staff policies, department guidelines, regulations, and state/federal government laws. Work closely with hospital recruitment, human resources, medical staff credentialing and legal departments to ensure that all incoming staff is fully credentialed and able to begin work on the specified date. Work with numerous private health insurance companies, CMS and state Medicaid offices to credential personnel in order to bill for appropriate services. Knowledge of CPT and ICD/9 coding, billing compliance and regulations.Process licensing applications and reappointment paperwork, checking for full completeness and accuracy.
