      In 2012, I had the pleasure of working for Design Hirayama + Quesada as a Junior Designer for more than a year; a distinguished interior design firm owned by business partners Frenjick Quesada and Hisako Hirayama. The firm has worked on over 100 stores for over 25 brands, model units, restaurants and residential projects. We were trained to work under pressure and were given the opportunity to handle projects and experience the Design Process hands-on from start to finish being tasked to work on numerous projects at one time. We would also be assigned projects as a team, which made me appreciate the advantages of working well in a group wherein we could share our opinions, ideas and resources.
