  I am responsible for the definition and coordination of MARIN's unmanned maritime systems program. The focus is mainly on Defence applications. The introduction, skill development and use of Model Based Systems Engineering is an important aspect to realize this program. Leading a new team in MARIN's department Performance at Sea, the challenge will be to apply MARIN's experience and tools to the onboard situation. The goal is to extend the operational limits, maintaining or improving the safety and increase the efficiency. The process of learning by doing will allow us to do develop a new MARIN service: the independent testing and validation of complex decision support and autonmous systems in a holistic manner. - Program Manager Time Simulation & Control- Chairman of the CRNavies (Cooperative Research Navies).
