I also was an approachable representative of the department of Public Safety. As a Desk Assistant I was the greeting face at the Student Life Office. I directed visitors and calls, sorted mail, performed minor office tasks, and assisted as necessary. As a Teaching Assistant I was a presence in the EPICS 2 - AutoCAD class. I answered questions, demonstrated the AutoCAD program, gave homework help, and held office hours. As a Desk Assistant I was a friendly, after hours greeter at the Residence Life Office in Thomas Hall. My tasks included answering questions, giving out cleaning materials and games, sorting and distributing mail, and providing an after hours service to Freshmen in the Traditional Residence Halls.
