A portfolio of cultural engagement activities fall under two main categories: performance and education services. Projects employ a cohort of inspiring and dynamic Australian musicians, to engage with local, visiting and digital audiences, clients and service providers.

  Sunshine Coast Chamber Orchestra presents repertoire spanning from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern eras. The repertoire is chamber orchestra works, string orchestra music plus vocal works with invited guest conductors, concertmasters and soloists. Sunshine Coast Chamber Orchestra aims to present and provide professional quality Chamber Orchestra performances for Sunshine Coast audiences. It aims to create and develop mentoring opportunities between professional Australian wide musicians, professional development for teachers and young aspiring students based on the Coast.Sunshine Coast Chamber Orchestra has a dual function as a performing ensemble and an equal commitment to education.Sunshine Coast Chamber Orchestra is at present a musician-led project. We are simply finding a way to make cultural events happen in our community.   Key Board of Directors Responsibilities:• Lead the design, delivery and management of performance and education programs.• Create and develop the business vision, mission, goals and organisation strategy.• Schedule, Plan and Budget for the Annual Season: Public concert program and regional tours.• Schedule, Plan and Budget for the Annual Education Program and Workshop Delivery.• Negotiate, Invite and Recruit artists, ensembles, composers for projects.• Prepare budgets and financial reports for all business activities including forecasting, reconciling expenditure andacquitting grants.• Manage artists, producers, arts-workers and venue crew.• Write marketing copy and media releases and be the spokesperson for media and PR festival activities.• Create, Develop and Refine the marketing plan and develop branding guidelines.• Develop planning, curatorial, production and operational models including contractual and on-boarding volunteerprocesses.• Create programming concepts, ideas and frameworks for inputting into grant applications.• Write and apply for grants applicable and submit acquittals.• Create KPI and industry reports: on artistic quality, outcomes, cultural legacy, First Nations Arts protocol and programming.• Create, Advocate and Lead fundraising and donor campaigns. عرض أقل

  Artistic Director Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, delivery and management of artistic programs.- Create an artistic vision, mission and long term strategic goals.- Festival Season: Public concert program.- Young Artist Mentoring ‘Rising Stars’ Program.- Negotiation and Recruitment of artists and ensembles.- Deliver the board-approved programme and budget.- Manage producers, arts workers and crew.- Be the festival’s spokesperson prior to and during the festival.- Develop curatorial, production and operational models including processes. - Create programming concepts, ideas and frameworks for inputting into all grant applications and donor programmes developed and submitted by the organisation. - Provide input into all grant acquittals submitted by the organisation.- Provide monthly reports to the Board of Directors on progress and quality of the artistic programme. - Provide a final festival report on all aspects of the programme including artistic quality, outcomes and festival legacy. - Provide input into the organisation’s image, marketing and publicity strategies.- Play an active and leadership role in fundraising and in donor and sponsor relationship development.- Liaise with, advise and support artists, coordinators and volunteers.- Perform, rehearse and collaborate in the festival. عرض أقل

Their combined collective experience is global and thoughtful and together they shine a bright light on the future of classical music.
