  During the summer of 2018, I had the valuable opportunity to serve as a Cyber Defense Security Intern at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois. In this dynamic role, I gained comprehensive insights into cybersecurity's complexities and its crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information.My responsibilities included executing updates for over 25 security groups and conducting thorough access control audits for over 50 SharePoint pages. These tasks honed my auditing skills and reinforced my understanding of access control principles and their importance in ensuring information security.In addition to that, I led efforts to audit our cybersecurity organization's SharePoint pages. This process entailed verifying the accuracy of project information and deliverables, requiring keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of cybersecurity projects. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of cybersecurity's challenges and intricacies in a large and complex organization.   During my time as a System Engineer 1 at Motorola Solutions from September to December 2019, I played a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of a broad spectrum of devices.I successfully built over 100+ customized environments, leading comprehensive testing and configuration of various devices including but not limited to Juniper routers/firewalls, HP switches, MCC7500(E) console ops, Virtual Management Servers (VMS), Unified Event Manager (UEM), GTRs, Trunking Radios, and VPMs. This allowed for optimized device performance and preparedness for real-world applications.Part of my responsibilities involved performing in-depth root cause analysis for identified errors during testing. In my role, I've created extensive security process documentation, including a 14-page Security Response Plan and a Vulnerability Management playbook. This has elevated our security incident handling proficiency and outlined best practices for identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in cloud-hosted environments.I have led the build-out of customized Azure cloud-hosted environments for Velosio's rapidly expanding client base, integrating Domain Controllers, Terminals, and SQL Servers to deliver tailored solutions.
