I have led new product introductions, merchandising initiatives and consumer promotions. As a result, I was able to make a positive impact on sales revenue, market share and profitability. Brands managed include Science Diet and Eon. During my tenure I have directly worked with top Canadian and US retailers including PETsMart, Super Pet, Pet Valu, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Rona and Menards. The 360 degree Channel and Merchandising Plans I developed and presented have resulted in achieving incremental shelf space and sales targets. One of my key achievements is the development and launch of the Best Store Merchandising Initiative for Science Diet which resulted in an increase of same store sales for the brand at PETsMart and Super Pet by 6%. This provided me with a tremendous opportunity to roll up my sleeves and make things happen given that Northwestel was in the process of integrating a number of Cablecos it had acquired.I started as the Consumer Segment Manager then moved to manage the SMB Segment within the Marketing Team. My responsibilities included the development and execution of the segment's go-to-market plan as well as the management of the wireless device schedule. Throughout my tenure at Northwestel I led large cross-functional teams and was able to make a significant impact on ARPU and acquisition targets. My business development focus included Digital TV penetration, wireless device launches, wireless voice to data migration, cross-sell and bundling. I have also owned the communication and training activities for frontline teams including retail.One of the achievements that I am particularly proud of is the launch of SMB wireless Share Plans at Northwestel under 2 brands. Not only did this launch accelerate the V2D migration at the company but it also boosted ARPU and average number of handsets per account significantly. Another key achievement is the effective participation in the launch of iPhone 3GS on the HSPA network at Northwestel. By successfully leading a talented cross-functional team, I was able to achieve best in class results and launch industry leading features. I am most proud to have reached the highest Video On Demand Participation and Buy Rates among all English Primary BDUs in Canada. As well, I have developed successful integrated campaigns that allowed TELUS to achieve the #1 market share position for several blockbuster titles thanks to the strong relationships and trust I have built with VOD content providers and the way I was able to mobilize internal teams to support the VOD portfolio. Top content providers I worked with include Disney, Warner Bros, Sony Pictures and eOne. Sales of promoted VOD titles have increased by 4+ times as a result of these campaigns.A key initiative I led is the development and execution of the go-to-market plan of the Content Discovery and Recommendations for Optik On Demand. Industry leading features the team launched include personalized recommendations "You might like", "More like this" titles, critics and audience ratings by the popular film review site Rotten Tomatoes as well as Optik user star rating.
