      Managed a large 24x7 operation that delivered national services across Air Traffic Flow Management, Trackmaster, Pilot Briefing, the Data and Communications Centre and NOTAM office. I developed a new operating model and led a transformation to improve service delivery, efficiency and effectiveness outcomes. As a technical leader, I provided expert operational advice and guidance. As the Team Leader I managed twelve staff that were responsible for the management and national delivery of aeronautical information to industry, including liaison with government, airports and Defence. As an air traffic management specialist, I delivered pilot briefing; managed third party relay between air traffic control and aircraft (Flightwatch); and managed the data and communications centre for air traffic service messages nationally. As, the Check and Standardisation Supervisor, I was responsible for performance checks on staff, ensuring competency of all staff within the unit and led investigations on safety incidents.

      Led the development and transition to a new People & Culture operating model as a result of an internal review and COVID-19 (including people, process and technology changes). Led advice on workforce strategy, recruitment and training priorities for Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting – a team of some 900 staff at 27 locations around Australia. I worked closely with operations leaders to develop people strategies from strategic, pre-tactical and tactical phases of deployment. I established a high performing and cohesive workforce planning and rostering team and improved processes and technology. Acting periods between 1-9 months. Led the Human Resources, WHS, recruitment, leadership capability, performance management and support team. During my tenure I led and coordinated the national recruitment campaigns for Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting. I managed dual senior manager roles and teams, creating a cohesive and high performing capability across all teams.
