Therapy involves my listening to each partner for their emotions, cognitions (or thoughts) and to observe current behaviors and patterns in the relationship as well as in each individual. Our goal is to create a better relationship. I explain attachment styles and patterns of negative interaction to help better understand what is getting in the way of a great relationship. I encourage mindfulness, meditation and somatic exercises to strengthen body awareness and promote emotional calm. Together we will develop strategies to help you understand and improve your partnerships, create enhanced intimacy and understand your relationships in a deeper way. I am a Sex Therapist certified by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
