      Research and testing activities included the application of infrared spectrometry to study the Moon's regolith composition, identify water presence, and understand the effects of space weathering on the lunar surface. I was responsible for leading the development and implementation of georadars and accelerometers. These efforts were aimed at enhancing our ability to detect and analyze subsurface structures on the Moon, such as lava tubes, contributing to the advancement of lunar geology and leading the new era of space exploration through our rover missions. In the app, you can filter by date the lunar events registered by the passive instruments deployed during the Apollo missions between 1969 and 1972.
