  "Youth Radio" -- A media production company that trains young people in digital media and technology.• Participated in Core Program—learning foundations of media arts and technology (1st Middle School student selected). Spent three months surveying the disciplines of Journalism, Music, and Multimedia. Learned how to write commentaries, features, and roundtables, create beats and playlists, and assume role of disc jockey in preparation for a weekly one-hour radio show.• Participant in Bridge Program— specializing for three months in journalism discipline, developed media and tech skills as well as interviewing pedestrians. • Interned in newsroom, formulated blog posts, wrote, created, and collaborated on commentaries and features and logged/transcribed both my own work as well as others.   "West Coast Live" with host Sedge Thomson -- Weekly two-hour radio variety show that broadcasts live-to-satellite in front of theater audiences and national listeners.• Assembled audio equipment for both theater audience and radio listeners, operated as production assistant ensuring set-up was ready for show, and assisted with on-air guests both on stage as well as in the greenroom.
