The model used allows to show how the inflation rate is explained mainly by the pressure of the foreign exchange market and inflationary inertia, understood as the lack of confidence of economic agents in the measures of economic and monetary policy. In addition, was estimated a Vector Autoregressive Structural model (SVAR) with labor, technology and long-term economic policy restrictions and it demostrated that technological changes are critical in reducing inflation permanently.
