Led a video render team about 3 engineers to develop and maintain the core module.3. Cooperate with VGA vendors, such as NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel, to develop new features for Blu-ray playback, e.g. video HW rendering and stereo video. 4.Developed the first version of 3D stereo rendering for home theater.

  1. As of now, led a team to develop a new product which is designated to find out a unknown threat by machine-learning approaches. My main responsibility in this project is system architecture design and algorithm development (see 5) as well as project manager (JM) in the first year.2. Designed and developed several cloud web services to provide intelligence for company business. Most of them consist mainly of Restful API server, web portal, and distributed data storage, e.g. Hadoop HDFS or HBase.. 3. Involved 6 projects during this period. Took JM role and technical lead in 3 projects and run the projects by agile scrum. In the meantime, needed to communicate with stakeholders or real customers.4. Converted raw data to information or even intelligence to help other products increase their effectiveness. Regarding data analytics, using Splunk or Apache Pig on Hadoop to analyze data in the beginning and then Spark(in Scala) becomes the backbone.5. Led a data scientist team to develop algorithms against empirical problems and anomaly detection, as well as be a bridge between domain experts and data scientists.6. Introduced new strategic technologies for the company by attending conferences, internal sharing or early adoption in projects, like docker, Spark, Akka and etc. Show less
