  Amara Raja Batteries Ltd is a battery manufacturing unit of Amara Raja Groups. I joined as in-plant trainee as a part of my B-tech curriculum. I got chance to understand the manufacturing process if industrial batteries in IDB section of the plant. The company manufactures Lead Acid batteries. The Process includes Casting, Preparation of Acid, Pasting, Soaking, Assembly, Acid filling and Finishing process. The in-plant training helped me to understand learn the basic etiquette of a manufacturing plant and manufacturing process from close. Show less

  Fraternity of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering is all about creating a platform for the aspiring engineers to explore and experience real time engineering and creating opportunities for the passionate students. I joined as a Intern in Design and Manufacturing of Electrical bike program. The E-bike is completely designed and simulated in SOLIDWORKS. The manufacturing includes cutting, grinding and welding. The Battery and motor are designed and bought according to required power output. Lead Acid batteries are used as power source. The program helped me to achieve professional level in designing and welding skills. Show less
