  Worked as an intern at Energy Innovations, a company that was developing a concentrating solar panel designed for residential or small-scale applications. Ran models to compare the performance of the concentrating panel array to traditional photovoltaic arrays in order to determine where the designed product would be most competitive. I also worked on a project to characterize the failure characteristics of actuators being used in the product and another small project to develop VB scripts for Microsoft Vizio to help identify bottlenecks in manufacturing process diagrams.   Interpreted seismic data in the Gulf of Mexico to identify and evaluate sub-salt (Wilcox) prospectivity in an area of Keathley Canyon. During this work, I identified several leads, performed a volumetric evaluation and risk assessment and compared them to nearby drilled prospects.

Worked with Hess's Equatorial Guinea team to evaluate a near-field exploitation opportunity in a mature producing asset. During this rotation, I gained experience with seismic interpretation, 4D seismic, seismic inversion products and pre-stack seismic interpretation.2nd Rotation: October 2015-October 2016. Exploration: Mexico / Campeche BasinEvaluated the blocks available in the first deepwater bid round for the Campeche Basin. Identified, assessed volumes and risk on prospects in 2 key blocks, presented findings and technical recommendations to management and industry partners. Skills from this rotation: sesimic interpretation, volume and risk assessment, prospect evaluation, characterization of depositional systems using Paleoscan.3rd Rotation: October 2016-May 2017. Onshore Production: Bakken Regional Subsurface TeamEvaluated a method for creating 1-D forward models of natural fracture intensity from geomechanical data and basin history. Ran a Monte-Carlo analysis to characterize the sensitivity and robustness of the model to uncertain inputs, and presented finding and recommendations to the team.
