      Gave active-duty military service as a member of the U.S. Air Force Band. Achieved rank of Master Sergeant (3rd highest rank for an enlisted individual). Auditioned for and won position of Principal Horn, holding role for 17 years. Performed in high-visibility domestic and international settings, including ceremonies and funerals at Arlington National Cemetery as well as at inaugurations.
