  Project Designer

  - After working as an intern during my last semester at NC State University, I began working full time at New City Design Group the summer of 2015. Current job scope includes: - Assisting the project Architect with all phases of the project, including schematic design, design development, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit. - Producing permit drawing sets for restaurants, retail, residential mixed use, campus and larger office facilities. - Producing schematic diagrams, hand drawings and sketches, plans, elevations, and 3D models using SketchUp Pro and Adobe Creative Suite. - Creating detailed renderings using a variety of render engines including, Lumion, Render[In], Podium and V-Ray. Post processing to include workflows in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to create intentional presentations for clients. - Collaborating with in-house interior designers and reps to select materials, finishes and lighting.- Reviewing shop drawings and submittals as part of Construction Administration. - Field measuring as-built's and producing Lease Outline Drawings for retail and office spaces.- In process of attaining professional registration.
