  Got involved in Operations and Maintenance of Gas Turbines (GE MS 9001E & SIEMENS V94.2) & Steam Turbines (VEGA 209.110, SIEMENS & ABB). During this training i was also involved in operations of Black start Diesel Generator, Fuel Oil Treatment Plant, Storage Tank Area, RO plant & DEMI plant.

A list of modelling tools and their brief description is as follows:>Wholesale Electricity Model : Price forecasting, foreign exhange requirements, PLEXOS, socio-economic impacts. It also includes a comparison module for automated comparison of different scenarios on multiple frontiers including Energy, capacity, cost, along with their sub components and comparison of forecast results with actual data for feedback into the forecasting process.>Retail Electricity Model: Retail electricity tariffs, Subsidy Requirements, affordability, revenue requireents, utility wise cost of service models, circular debt mitigation plan etc. >Long Term Expansion Model: Capacity additions and retirement, Loss of load probability, capacity reserve margins, Energy Trilema.>Short Term Dispatch Model: Economic dispatch and unit commitment, fuel planning, maintenance scheduling, Take or Pay contracts.>Tariff Models: Upfront, cost plus tariff models for Independent Power Producers for Wind, Solar, RLNG, Coal, Bagasse, Hydel) on BOO and BOOT bais.>Fuel Price Forecasting Models: For primary energy commodities including RLNG, RFO, HSD, Gas, Imported and Local coal.>Policy and Planning Information System: Power BI based dynamic reporting interface regarding Economic, Social and Energy value chain for informed decision making.A list of Project included in my portfolio include:->IGCEP 2047 (Integrated Generation Capacity Expansion Plan)->RLNG Take or Pay Contracts Optimization->Solarization initiative (Grid scale, feeder level, tube wells and behind the meter)->Incentive packages for different categories of consumers including industrial, commercial, domestic->Energy Efficiency Plan->National Electricity Policy and Plan->Impact analysis for Power Projects i.e. comissioning, retirements, fuel planning->Electricity gas switching to serve heating demand in winters->Power BI Dashboards Show less
