  I coordinated the undergraduate internship program for Hamline University. In this role, I met with students to coach them through the internship search and registration process. This included helping them clarify their internship and career goals and assisting with their professional skill development, such as resume and cover letter writing, interviewing preparation, etc.I worked with the employing community to help them with their internship program development. I developed relationships with internship sites and assisted employers with advertising their opportunities to students.My job also included significant collaboration with faculty and Registration and Records to support the internship supervision process as well as the registration policies and processes for nearly 400 registered student interns each year.Major accomplishments:-Led initiative to convert internship paperwork to fully electronic forms to enhance efficiency and communication between students, faculty and internship sites-Two-time recipient of the Great Lakes Career Ready Internship Grant for academic years 2015-2016 and 2016-2018; awarded over $475,000 to implement an internship program for students with financial need-Created and hosted a podcast series, Hamline Career Cast, to discuss and share relevant career-related topics with the Hamline University Community Show less As a Career Counselor, I worked with undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni to help them achieve their career goals. I provided assistance with career exploration and decision-making, as well as job, internship and graduate school search issues. My responsibilities also included conducting outreach to students through presentations, workshops, and the publication of an office newsletter.
