We won the Grand Prize for the Boston region hackathon, 12 weeks one on one training & mentorship by AngelHack's Hackelerator program to present at Silicon Valley.Project summary:We created an application service that lets people access information through text when no internet is accessible. The application can guide people to destinations through text message, help access their bank account, get weather updates & provide nearby tow truck locations. Basically, getting the same information as on internet, but through text message instead. We had used Javascript to receive input from the user & using Twilio as a converter for text messages to machine language. The output was sent by reversing the Twilio's process. We had also used Capital One's Nessi API for text banking, Accuweather API for weather reports & the signal transmission to locate the user for directions & weather report. Show less
