  • Experience

    • Teoresi Group

      May 2017 - Jul 2017
      Tesista

I did an internship at Teoresi's Naples office for three months. In this time, I did for the company a development work that let me build a software system intended for use by engineers who work at the Naples office. The system provides support to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) calibration task: a task which is carried out in the Naples office.

    • Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia

      Aug 2019 - Dec 2019
      Undergraduate Research Fellow

Working on my MSc thesis, my goal is to improve the robot's transparency during Reinforcement Learning tasks with the human as a teacher. I'm using the robot iCub for both the implementation and the experiments. The software architecture was developed entirely in C++.

    • Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia

      Apr 2020 - now

My research connects the eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) and the Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) fields. I am focusing on studying how explainable robots can shape the HRI during collaborative decision-making tasks with humans. I developed a mathematical model for shared perception in asymmetric human-robot interaction scenarios. I tested the model through a user study with the humanoid robot iCub.
