Reviewed and commented on proposed shoreline legislation and worked with the County Shoreline Advisory Committee on revisions to the County Shoreline Master Program.Mapped and wrote new zoning code provisions dealing with wetlands, steep/unstable slopes, flood hazard/ponding areas, critical water recharge areas, and critical wildlife habitat areas. Managed four student interns in the development and completion of a detailed County-wide land use survey that is computerized for tabulation, mapping, and updating. Also worked with a County appointed Task Force in the evaluation and mapping of all valuable agriculture and forest lands in the County for inclusion in two new Agriculture and Forest zones where such lands are preserved through a program involving the transfer of development rights.
