      As the Coordinator of Information & Research Services at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (CLP), I lead efforts to connect our community with information, research, programs, and collections through active, personalized engagement. My role ensures that both in-person and virtual research services serve as high-impact resources for CLP, Allegheny County libraries, and the broader Pennsylvania community.Key Responsibilities:✔ Strategic Vision –Develop and implement innovative research and information services that enhance patrons’ learning experiences.✔ Global Service – Oversee and coordinate live chat and phone services with 150+ system wide staff using Springshare's LibAnswers platform. ✔ Community Engagement – Lead the creation of programs, events, and displays that inspire curiosity and intellectual growth.✔ Staff Development – Oversee training and continuous learning initiatives to strengthen research and information services.✔ Collection & Resource Management – Ensure materials are accessible, discoverable, and reflective of community needs.✔ AI & Emerging Technologies – Explore and integrate AI tools to improve research services, streamline information discovery, and enhance library operations.✔ Collaboration & Leadership – Work closely with library staff, community partners, and professional organizations to expand CLP’s reach and impact.
