      - Designed steel racks through SolidWorks and built them onto a mobile power system in order to support heavy duty batteries. The mobile power system provides clean and renewable energy. - Constructed mechanical designs, mechanical layouts, and basic electrical diagrams for a 1 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for the UCR Smart Grid Project.- Programmed systematic strategies to control the facility’s HVAC units which reduced the overall power consumption of the facility. - Created user friendly interface to monitor and display the success and progress of the facility’s reduced power consumption. - Helped develop a charge/discharge cell load-testing setup that was used to determine the reliability of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells.
