  As an intern at Court Five, I performed a lot of coverage duties, which includes reading scripts that are being considered for development and assessing whether they would be suitable for a more serious consideration by the producers. I also did a lot of research on possible upcoming projects, which included fact-checking and sitting in on development meetings. I was also asked to write a film treatment of a sci-fi novel that had the potential to be converted to a script. Answering phones and running errands were part of my responsibilities as well.
