  I worked for the Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity (ACLEI) prior to its transformation into the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). This role saw exposure to both the corporate functioning and operational side of the agency.   From late-2022, I worked as a Policy Advisor within the Simplified Trade System Implementation Taskforce (STS), focusing on data sharing and standardisation. The STS lead a whole-of-government (WofG) reform agenda to simplify how cross-border trade is undertaken in Australia. While in this position, I have:Contributed to drafting the WofG Cross-border trade data sharing framework;Extensively managed and improved relations with colleagues across the ABF and DAFF;Designed governance structures and supporting document to support cross-border trade data use;Drafted and managed project plans; Co-authored a sustainability impact paper;Contributed to new policy proposal (NPP) development and Cabinet Submissions.   Senior Advisor (EL1)

  From October 2023, I occupied the Senior Advisor (EL1) position within Austrade's South Asia, Southeast Asia and Pacific section. In this role, I was the working-level lead for Austrade's response to Invested: Australia's Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040, new policy development for South and Southeast Asian initiatives, and bilateral engagements with states in our sections region. The Senior Advisor role saw me engage regularly with Austrade staff at Postings throughout the region to fulfil Australia's economic and strategic interests, and support Australian businesses in reaching their trade and investment goals overseas.   Between April-August 2024, I was seconded part-time to the India Economic Roadmap Taskforce, housed with DFAT. The Roadmap is an opportunity for Australia to modernise the 2018 India Economic Strategy, and its 2022 Update. As Austrade’s representative on the Taskforce, I led development across sectors including Agriculture and Agtech, Tourism, Health & Pharmaceuticals, and METS (mining equipment, technology and services).   I am the Assistant Director leading stakeholder engagement for Treasury’s Foreign Investment Division (FID). This includes all engagement through the Foreign Investment Review Board, Federal & State governments, industry, and international. While working at FID, I have led the transformation of the Divisions stakeholder engagement function, including through development of engagement strategies for both FIRB and Treasury, instituted forward work plans, and driven proactive engagement across all segments.
