Activities and Societies: Student Science Representative, Education Improvement Scheme Researcher & Gifted and Talented Program, Mensa testing As a student at Altwood CofE College I acted as a Science prefect giving a student contribution to the development of the science department. In my early years I participated in Maths Challenges as well as the MENSA High IQ test after being recognised as a Gifted and Talented student achieving a score of 127. Initiating my study in AS-Mathematics in year 10 alongside my GCSE's. Besides my normal studies I partook in the Greenpower team which was an electrical racing car school competition in which teams designed and constructed powered vehicles in a similar way to a soap box race with the addition of an electrical power source. Activities and Societies: Study abroad program in the 2nd year of education to Canada During my time at Kingston University I succeeded in earning the ability to spend a year abroad at the University of Windsor in Canada. An experience obtained through extensive hard work and dedication both within university and at work to raise the necessary funds.In my 3rd year I consistently achieved grades within the top quartile of my modules. An example of which is the project poster presentation, in which I was awarded a prize for the work delivered. The poster is attached.
