  Blue Hen Economics Club

  As the Vice President of the Blue Hen Economics Club, I collaborate with executive board members and faculty advisors to plan and host events focused on educating students about economics, economic research, and current events. I work closely with the President to plan and lead events and club activities by organizing logistics and executing event plans. Additionally, I cover any of the president's duties as needed. As an Executive Advisory Board Member of the Blue Hen Economics Club, I work closely with the rest of the executive board to brainstorm new event ideas, organize event logistics, draft event agendas, and work to market the club to prospective members and new students at Lerner. I also communicate with other faculty members and on-campus clubs to explore potential collaborations. When I am available, I help tutor introductory economics courses for the club.

  As an Economic Analyst, I have prepared and edited analyses of key economic indicators to help top management with key decisions. Additionally I have prepared portfolio proposals for clients, focusing on maximizing risk adjusted returns in the 3, 5 and 10 year time horizons.

  As an Economics Tutor, I help students with advanced-level Econometrics and introductory microeconomics for the University of Delaware Department of Economics. I assist undergraduate students in introductory Finance courses to understand concepts they are struggling with or need more clarity on. Additionally, I assist the Finance faculty with administrative tasks, such as grading. I work with students in a flexible and professional manner to ensure they understand all required concepts and coursework. As a Data Mentor, I work with a team to administer undergraduate workshops using various data analysis software packages such as Stata focused on teaching data analysis and visualization. I designed and led a workshop primarily focused on understanding, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis. I also provide individual assistance to students struggling with aspects of their data analysis and troubleshoot issues with Stata and data-set-related issues. As a Summer Research Fellow I Conducted Summer Research on consumer purchase behavior based on product labelling conventions. The Project required cleaning and preparing a complex dataset with over 600 variables.
