      This position involved overseeing Waqf investment projects in 4 countries: United Kingdom, Bosnia, Sudan, and Mali. This involves handling, managing, and overseeing investment project funds. In order to reach a decision regarding the distribution of such funds, I am required to carry out feasibility studies and appraising investment options. Additionally, I have ample experience in investing within financial markets in coordination with wealth-management companies within the United Kingdom. Alongside this, I am tasked with managing a team of 5 members of staff. Further, I am required to search for new Waqf investment opportunities, and manage them accordingly. Moreover, I was tasked with managing grants for the organisation.This role has given me great insight in Waqf investments, and as allowed me to utilise my Shari’ah knowledge in order to ensure investments are Shari’ah compliant.
