Treatment goals in this setting were dual-fold in that there was a balance of reducing risk for future re-offence and meeting clients’ goals for recovery. Common treatment goals involved increasing emotional regulation skills, wellness self-management skills, daily structure and role development (including engagement in vocational and educational activities), and ADL/IADL skills. The role also involved conducting functional assessments to prepare clients for discharge, as well as facilitating groups. Show less
