  As Head of Birds I was responsible for maintaining the bird section, developing breeding progress of many species,training and flying an Australian Wedge Tailed Eagle for successful demonstration and giving guided tours and educating the general public.I also worked as a cover keeper for a number of the other animal sections whilst in this post.

  Worked for John Downer,film producer, rearing and training a variety of bird species for film including Little Egret, White Stork, House Sparrow, Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo and Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot.

  Developed a very successful number of classes for Mums and their toddlers, enabling enjoyment and participation with music,dance, singing and instruments for parents and youngsters.
