In this position I learned to build strong relationships with community partners such as, principles, mayor's, police officers, store managers, etc. It highlighted the importance of interpersonal relationships. This position was fascinating to me, I got to see the interworkings of my organizations planning department. While the perspective I gained has helped me countless times I knew that it wasn't my true calling. This position set a foundation for the rest of my career. I became very disciplined, determined, and focused. Ultimately I knew the job wasn't for me so I left the field.
