  Having 5+ years of work experience in Digital HeadEnd previously associated with Indusind Media & Communication Ltd & NXT (Hinduja Group of Companies). as an Sr. Digital HeadEnd Engineer (Managing HeadEnd/DVB Services), Whereby responsible for HeadEnd compression, Ability to drive and implement HeadEnd Projects to its timely closure.Key Responsibilities:- Managing Digital HeadEnd & taking care of HeadEnd services of IMCL.- Monitoring & control of equipments installed in HeadEnd.- Schedule & perform routine maintenance of broadcast/HeadEnd equipments.- Regular checks of equipment for any alarms.- Ensure correct compression bit rate of different channels.- Understanding of Video streaming, encoding & encryption.- Creation of reports (faults reports, broadcaster IRD reports, etc.) as per specified reporting systems.- Responsible for Level-Encryptions pertaining to channels, End User Devices, Applications at the Head End.- Up-gradation of end user devices software/firmware patches.- Regular backup & failover testing of systems for disaster recovery.- Identifying severity of problems & resolve the issues of EQ, IRD, Decoder, Encoder, Multiplexers & SPR servers.- Establish a good working relationship with customers (NXT COPE) & other professionals such as Broadcaster & third party vendors.- Ensuring prompt communications to all users in case of any major failure or breakdown.- Ensure all the customer complaints/issues are identified, to prepare action plan for all complaints received and drive till closure.- Ensure all the HeadEnd tasks are being done as per the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).- Co-ordinate with team members in identifying new solutions for existing and unresolved issues.
