  Charged with programming and maintaining various sites connected with the disconnection works for British Telecom in the North of Scotland.Responsible for controlling 15 x 2man gangs working in a geographical area covering 250sq miles including the Western Isles and Outer Herbrides. Duties included co-ordinating the movement of gangs across a rural area including sea crossings to meet the time restraints of BT, liasing with BT planners and ordering materials including Bituminous to meet the same restraints and communicating with local authorities.   £11.5m contract for Northern Ireland Electricity in East Belfast (Newtonards Peninsula Regeneration Project)This project consisted of 6 x 275KV circuits and associated jointing, this was a turn-key project and I was responsible from concept to completion. I was responsible for 100 personnel working in areas of hostility, where Health & Safety was paramount as were all other aspects connected with a major Civil Engineering Project.
