  My activity was focused mainly on continuing my thesis work in order to confirm the positive effects of MSCs conditioned medium on satellite cells’ proliferation. During this period I also started studying the role of sphingolipid metabolism in different cell type like cardiac muscle cells, C2C12 cells and liver epithelial stem-like WB-F344 cells.

As a trainee I was actively involved in supporting the Protein purification-Protein Biochemistry team where they use techniques for purification of different Recombinant proteins that are expressed in Bacterial Systems. The recombinant proteins purification was carried out through different chromatographic techniques (affinity chromatography; size exclusion chromatography; SE-UPLC and HPLC).
