  Leads the Planetarium Experience Engineering team in hardware and software support for the Academy’s immersive media venues. Integrates and visualizes new science data into simulation systems, designs user interfaces and controls, manages render and production hardware, and engages in long-term strategy for continuous improvement of the displays, graphics hardware, and information security. Collaborated with presenters, producers, school curriculum coordinators and engineers on production of immersive realtime venue programming; acquired and managed data and show cues for Academy realtime visualization systems. Maintained, improved and operated technology in immersive venues, including the Morrison Planetarium. Maintained and improved planetarium fulldome video projection system, realtime software and planetarium control interfaces; created and enhanced planetarium programming for live shows; maintained and improved immersive video systems throughout the Academy.
