      My duties/responsibilities include: Management of the Group HR Department, including Payroll, Labour Relations, General HR and Admin, Training and Development with emphasis on:Workforce Design and Talent Managemento Involved in the planning/budgeting activities.o Oversee recruitment and selection activities within the Group.o Advise on benefits and remuneration package structuring.Employee Relations and Labour Relations: o Oversee function to ensure liability in terms of litigation is minimized.o Ensure adherence with Company Policies and Procedure.o Review and implement revisions in terms of Policies and Procedures where necessary.Strategic Human Resources Managemento Ensure that HR needs are fulfilled in line with the expansion through growth and acquisitions within the Group.o Report to various Group and Divisional Operations Committees and Exco meetings.Payroll Administration and Managemento Oversee function and ensure that statutory obligations are met.o Check and approve monthly payroll.o Determine packages payable and advise on annual increases through the review of salary survey information.o Check and authorize salary transfers. Business Management and Communications.o Oversee function dealing with internal communicationo Serve on Medical Aid committee as Chairpersono Serve on Pension Fund JF Committee as Chairperson and Employer Representativeo Serve as member of Group Social & Ethics CommitteeWellness practiceso Facilitate the introduction of wellness practices in the Group, including health check days and emergency evacuation measures/primary health care access for employees in foreign countries/remote sites.Workforce Developmento Involved in various training and development initiatives within the Group, including apprenticeship, bursar and intern programsSHEQ o.
