      Managed and led four direct reports and 20 person contractor team in TRADOC, TCM-V with responsibility for prioritizing and directing the $20+M budget expenditures for the Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT) program and the Synthetic Environment Core software development program (7/2007-7/2010)- key leader of an Army level cross functional team that programmed, planned, integrated, and managed the operational activities for Army Aviation Training Aides, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) to align costs with available budget- developed and documented a six year strategic capability production plan for AVCATT, provided leadership to the AVCATT team (soldiers and contractors) to ensure the efficient production, distribution and operation of 23 simulators suites (21 located in the United States, one in Germany, and one in South Korea) according to the plan.- managed customer relations for AVCATT at 23 different locations, gathering feedback to make improvements on the system- wrote and published articles on use of AVCATT for collective training in the AAAA Magazine.- worked with AVCATT and SE Core computer software engineers to identify scope and feasibility of simulation requirements leading to cost effective and relevant changes in the software capabilities. Ensured understanding of every task and saved millions of training dollars by shifting expensive live training to the virtual training environment, led the execution of ten training exercises per year. Executed annual budget of $1.8M, planned logistical support of the facility, and trained 3000 personnel per year. Managed, provided technical oversight, and supervised the successful implementation of Flight School XXI contracts to build the world’s largest virtual simulator facility providing 45 high fidelity flight training simulators to support flight school, and to install 18 re-configurable flight simulators in a newly built simulator facility to support collective training. Pioneered experiments to test virtual collective training using flight simulators connected with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and High Level Architecture protocols (HLA). Managed and supervised publishing of the Army Aviation Simulation Strategy (2007), wrote and published articles in aviation and training simulation journals to highlight benefits of using virtual simulators to support collective training.
