  As a wood-shop specialist I planned and delivered daily lessons to groups of children, including building bird-houses, chairs and projects of their own. I assisted with a variety of sporting activities each day, including football and hockey. I oversaw a group of eight boys aged 12-13 who I lived with for the duration of camp and helped in day-to-day activities. This group was my responsibility throughout my entire time at camp, requiring my constant attention.   One-on-one care for residents who suffer with a range of disabilities and mental health problems. I assist with all day-to-day activities, including preparing meals and medication. Intense training was required, including Mental Capacity Act training, Epilepsy training and health and safety. This role required constant attention-to-detail and excellent communication skills, because of the different ways each resident communicated and what action was needed to meet the needs and understand all signs. I observe and analyse the lead coach’s performance, looking at all areas, including: time-management, structure and progression.   I worked as a sports coach in a range of primary schools around Kent where I held a good relationship with all pupils and staff. I would carry out P.E. lessons, lunchtime clubs and after school clubs following the national P.E. curriculum. Alongside teaching sports, I assisted with maths and English lessons and reading with SEN (Special Educational Needs) pupils in groups and one-to-one sessions. This position requires a good understanding of all sports, including gymnastics and athletics, and the skill to teach them to children of all ages and abilities.
