      During the project implementation, significant engagement of the healthcare staff at the Vida y Esperanza Health Center was achieved, with 50% participation in training processes. Moreover, a 30% increase in the provision of services related to growth, development, and early childhood stimulation for children under 5 years old was observed compared to the previous year. 1200 home visits were conducted to provide healthcare to children under 5 years old, and a systematic monitoring and follow-up system for 200 children was established through a database. Additionally, a 10% rise in the inclusion of children under 5 years old in the community referral and counter-referral system for healthcare services was noted. Furthermore, successful training of 28 Community Health Workers (CHWs) was accomplished, along with the delivery of 40 educational talks and 4 fairs. Show less During my tenure, I took the lead in implementing community activities focused on Health, disaster risk management, and promoting a culture of peace. Additionally, I developed volunteer capacities in these areas, ensuring they were well-equipped to contribute effectively. Furthermore, I facilitated inter-institutional coordination with state and private entities, fostering collaboration in alignment with the objectives of the Red Cross.       The project contributed to risk reduction in Bolivia's main cities against influenza A (H1N1) pandemic. Prevention and awareness-raising activities were carried out in the community. The project was aimed at reducing vulnerabilities to disasters, under the concept that this is the best way to reduce risks in the community. Activities focused on promoting community brigades, community contingency plans and socialization of key messages focused on floods.

Additionally, I assisted the Venezuela Red Cross in public health emergencies, including epidemic control, WASH, and nutrition response activities, ensuring adherence to humanitarian standards and IFRC policies. I was the DREF’s project manager in the Red Cross’ response to floods in 2021 and 2022. In community areas, my responsibilities also involved supporting the compilation of situation information, contributing to evaluations, and contributing to the elaboration of community programs, projects, and concept notes proposal for ECHO, Simon Bolivar Foundation, IMC, SDC, OFDA, MoFA of the Netherlands and Participating National Societies. I also managed projects funded by ECHO, the Simon Bolivar Foundation, and the Netherlands’ MoFa. Furthermore, I collaborated with humanitarian partners such as IMC, OFDA, PAHO, and OCHA in collaborative interventions. Moreover, I played an instrumental role in identifying, designing, and prioritizing key actions to address health needs in disaster situations. Throughout my tenure, I focused on strengthening the regional health network and fostering cross-country cooperation among National Societies. I also actively contributed to fundraising initiatives for National Societies and Federation health programs, effectively managing resources and advocating for impactful interventions through various media platforms.
