      Curatorial Assistant/ Volunteer Coordinator

      No.9 is a non-profit arts organization that uses art and design as a way to address environmental issues. We are a small team and i answer directly to the Executive Director. In my role at No.9 i have curated a number of exhibitions, public art projects, and community outreach events. For the last two years i have planned, implemented, and managed the Eco-Art-Fest @ Todmorden Mills, a three-month long outdoor art festival with installations by Canadian artists, art tours, workshops for children and all ages, and a full kitchen and beer garden. I have curated 5 photography exhibitions at Pearson International Airport, and co-curated an international art exhibit by Nathan Coley at the Evergreen Brick Works. My skill set includes research, correspondence, project management, grant writing, sponsorship outreach, budget writing, artist outreach/correspondence, artist management, writing contracts, permit applications, writing curatorial statements, creating sponsorship decks, creating presentations in Keynote, arranging Public Viewings, social media development, website updates, and volunteer outreach and management.
