      Last 10 years of my career at UG, I was primary IT Support for their Planning & Dispatch offices, including software/hardware for trucks. The role included:• Supporting/maintaining complex systems for planning and dispatch, including in-truck terminals (radios, docks, GPS devices, laptops, satellite technology, cables)• Managing version control, inventory, licensing on various platforms, including desktops, in-truck terminals (devices, modems, satellite receivers, docks), servers• Led project and/or was primary support for system life-cycle replacements (client-server applications, in-truck terminals, communication hardware/software – radio, satellite, dial-up, internet), printing system replacement project (Xerox client), service order history reporting project, application development projects (windows/web)• Designed, developed (.Net/C#), tested, researched, implemented technology solutions (e.g. developed a web application to interface with an inventory database (Oracle/SQL) of all IT servers, applications and databases, and a Visual Basic windows application for meter reporting• Liaison/technical adviser for business clients, technology teams (security, infrastructure, data architects, developers, trainers), and vendors (hardware, software, installers, communications)• Managing projects and operational activities to approved schedules and budgets, provided forecasts Show less

      A liaison with the IT teams and the Finance Corporate Asset Management team to implement the IT components of the City’s Corporate Asset Management Plan. Responsibilities include: gathering and documenting financial reporting requirements for core and non-core assets from the Finance Corporate Asset Management team, creating work packages for IT teams based on financial reporting requirements, monitoring, coordinating and reporting status of IT projects to the Corporate Asset Management Sub-Committee, and leading the procurement process and implementation of a Corporate Asset Management Decision Support/Reporting System. In addition, I managed the majority of all minor software application licenses with regards to procurement, lifecycle management and compliance. I was also a key member of our Tangible Capital Asset (TCA) team to ensure annually that tangible in-scope assets are reporting accurately and timely per PSAB (Public Sector Accounting Board) mandatory obligations.
