  Hey I am Monique.I have always been very interested in fashion, colour and style; when the time was ripe for a career switch, I did not hesitate one minute: I opted to train as colour consultant followed by style consultant. I attended the courses offered by Syntra and started my own consultant company PRESENCE & ALLURE in July 2015. My aim was to help both men and women and make them aware that colour and style have a great influence on who we are and also how others see us. There is a saying that you have to dress for success. There is a lot of truth in this!!During the course for colour consultant I realized that accessories in a person’s colour can make all the difference; this led me to painting on silk. In the beginning only for my own use, but as my scarves were very successful with friends and they started ordering more and more I decided to start “MoVe”. This allowed me to offer a unique service to my Presence & Allure clients. I design the scarves, chokers, pocket squares, twillies…. using many techniques such as the old well-known Japanese Shibori techniques as well as the more recent ones. Using my experience as colour consultant I am able to make creations that comply fully with my clients’ demands.I am now also holding workshops, where you are not only learning the principles of painting on silk, but are also doing it. At the end of the workshop you will be going home with your own creation.I am also a volunteer with Neo Ma (a self-aid group for women who had a breast reconstruction after facing breast cancer). During their life style evenings I help out to give them a feel great evening.My other passion are my Tibetan Terriers, Fehri, Indra, Taylor and Poppy, lovely and very clever all-round dogs originating from Tibet where they are used as sheep dogs and last but not least my cat Kito a very lovely Burmese tomcat.Thank you for reading my profile.Monique Show less
