  Warranty Engineering Rotation:-Created warranty quick guides for various Bendix centers of competancies to assist in quickly validating possible returns, limiting the number of non valid returns as well as increasing customer knowledge of what constitutes a valid return-Completed 5s requirements for two compressor test stands, refit one stand with new plumbing to meet modern requirements, assisted in the test of various compressor models for oil passing characteristics-Designed a Microsoft Access query to calculate the percent contribution of specific products to the total cost per warranty claim. Used for future product improvements-Preformed warranty "deep dive analysis"​ on various Bendix components to determine the root cause of the problem specified by the customerAdvanced Manufacturing Quality Engineering Rotation:- Worked as a quality engineer overseeing the day to day issues in distribution and legacy products- Utilized problem solvng tools such as fishbone analysis and the 5 W's to preform root cause analysis on customer and internal issues. Followed the 8D format to ensure proper documentation of each issue as well as maintaining a thorough problem solving approach.- Currently enrolled in greenbelt certification scheduled to be completed by October, 2015- Wrote and maintained APQP documents including Control Plans, PFMEA's and Process Flow Charts as well as first piece inspection documents, standardized work instructions and quality alerts.
